Move your bookmarks to Tabme
Export from your current browser or tab manager, then import into Tabme from Chrome bookmarks, HTML, CSV, TXT, or a Tabme backup file.
What Tabme can import
- Chrome bookmarks: import saved browser bookmarks directly from the onboarding or Settings.
- HTML: standard browser bookmark export.
- CSV: a file with a
urlcolumn, plus optional title and folder columns. - TXT: one URL per line, with optional folder names between URL groups.
- Tabme backup: a JSON backup exported from Tabme.
Migrate from Toby
- Open Toby and go to your account or collection export menu.
- Choose HTML for the easiest Tabme import, or TXT if you only need links.
- Open Tabme, choose Import from files, then import the exported HTML or TXT file.
Toby also exports JSON for full Toby backups, notes, and tags. Tabme does not import Toby JSON directly yet, so choose HTML or TXT for migration.
Migrate from OneTab
- Open the OneTab page in Chrome.
- Use OneTab's import/export option to copy your exported URL list.
- Paste the URLs into a text file and save it with a
.txtextension. - Open Tabme, choose Import from files, then import the TXT file.
Migrate from Workona
- If your Workona links are also saved in Chrome, open Tabme and use Import Chrome bookmarks.
- If you have a Workona export, extract or copy the URLs into a TXT file, one URL per line.
- Open Tabme, choose Import from files, then import the TXT file.
Workona exports can vary by account and plan. Tabme currently supports the links once they are in Chrome bookmarks, HTML, CSV, or TXT.
Migrate from Session Buddy
- Export or copy the saved session URLs from Session Buddy.
- Save the links into a TXT file, one URL per line. Add folder names above URL groups if you want basic grouping.
- Open Tabme, choose Import from files, then import the TXT file.
Migrate from Tab Session Manager
- Export your sessions or copy the saved URLs from Tab Session Manager.
- Use TXT when available, or convert the exported links into one URL per line.
- Open Tabme, choose Import from files, then import the TXT file.
Migrate from Raindrop.io
- In Raindrop.io, go to backup or collection export.
- Choose HTML for the most compatible transfer, or CSV/TXT if that fits your workflow better.
- Open Tabme, choose Import from files, then import the exported file.
Migrate from another app
- Look for Export, Backup, or Download data in the app settings.
- Choose HTML, CSV, or TXT if the app offers a format choice.
- If the app only gives a custom JSON file, export or copy the links into TXT before importing into Tabme.
- Open Tabme, choose Import from files, then import the supported file.
